The bed was comfortable, but the bottom fitted sheet didn't fit well and kept popping off during the night. Temperature control worked fine. The room was noisy at times, as the walls seemed thin. I appreciated the clean towels, though the bathroom needed better attention; the bathtub looked grubby with visible mold in the corners. The fridge was awkwardly placed, making it hard to access. I encountered issues with the TV not working, forcing me to eat dinner on the bed. While the staff was friendly, some aspects of the room felt dated and poorly maintained.

During my stay, I loved how this hotel was just a short drive away from the Country Club of Petersburg, perfect for our dinner/dance event, and a few miles from must-see spots like the Petersburg National Battlefield Park and the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum, making it a great base for exploring this charming area, while the hotel itself offered spacious rooms and a nice breakfast, with pleasant staff on hand to assist us. The only downside was some noise from children in adjoining rooms, but that's just part of the lively atmosphere!

Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good hot breakfast options, albeit with an early closing time. Convenient location with eateries nearby. Cons: Serious cleanliness issues were evident. Bedbugs disrupted sleep, and surfaces appeared inadequately cleaned. Stains were present on furniture, and the bathroom was unsightly. The refrigerator placement was poor, and common areas had a mildew smell. The pool was closed without prior notice. Noise from above was intolerable. Despite some positives, the negatives overshadowed my experience. I expected more, especially regarding cleanliness and maintenance. This visit left much to be desired.

Our stopover was fantastic! The check, in staff were super friendly, and we scored a comfy room with 2 queen beds. The hot breakfast included waffles, eggs, and sausage , yum! Conveniently located near Wawa, Sheetz, and Dunkin across the street. Plus, easy access on and off I, 95 made our travels a breeze.

It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Some safety concerns lingered with police presence, vagrants, and loitering.

Just wanted to share my experience at Country. The room we had was pretty basic, but it had all the essentials we needed. I really appreciated the ironing facilities because it's always nice to have wrinkle, free clothes when traveling. The heating worked well, which was a relief on a chilly night. the air conditioning seemed a bit outdated and didn't quite cool the room as efficiently as I would have liked. On the plus side, they did have tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a nice touch for a quick pick, me, up in the morning. I also enjoyed the garden furniture outside our room, it was a nice spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The am/fm alarm clock in the room was handy for waking up on time, and the flat, screen TV was a nice addition for some evening entertainment. I did notice that the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn and could have used a good cleaning. Housekeeping did a decent job, but I did notice some areas could have been cleaned more thoroughly, especially in the bathroom. The laundry service was convenient, but it would have been nice if they had provided more amenities like shampoo and conditioner. my stay at Country was decent, with some ups and downs. If they could update the air conditioning and improve the cleanliness, it would definitely enhance the overall experience. Just little details that can make a difference in the end.

stayed at country inn, hands down the best hotel! clean and friendly, close to walmart and highway for more food options. spacious rooms, comfortable bed, helpful cleaning staff, delicious breakfast with hot food choices including oatmeal and waffles and real plates and silverware.
